Chester Zoo has some new arrivals, and one is named after SEVENTEEN’s Dino.
On 23rd January, Chester Zoo uploaded a tweet asking the public to name their five newborn otters.
Some fans spotted the tweet, and due to otters being the maknae’s favourite animal, suggested to name one after him. Fans also pointed out his resemblance to the animal.
After many requests, Chester Zoo revealed one of the otters is now, in fact, named Dino.

Now, fans hope to raise money for the otter as a birthday project for the SEVENTEEN maknae.
This appears to be the first time that an animal in the UK has been named after a kpop idol. The only other known instance where an animal is named after one is in LA, where a baby pudu was named after NCT’s Haechan.
