With Korean food gaining greater popularity, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the UK is holding a contest for people to show off their cooking skills and further promote Korean food.
Those wishing to apply must submit a form here – once done you will receive an email to confirm if the application has been submitted successfully.
Once selected to participate, contestants must create a video of themselves making their favourite Korean dish.
The video must meet the following requirements:
- The dish must originate from Korea
- Participants must be UK residents
- No gender or age limit
- First come first served
- Video length should be between 5 to 8 minutes
These videos will thenl be shared onto My K-Food Recipe’s YouTube channel for viewers to like and comment on, both of which will be considered when deciding on the final 5 winners.
Submissions must be made between 19 Oct – 4 Nov. Winners will be announced on 23 Nov.
