We are getting closer to the end of the year and the Award Show season is in full swing but one thing is for certain; there is plenty more Idol goodness and music to jam out to before the bells jingle for Christmas. As always, the UKP Team have rounded up the best of this week’s comebacks and a full list of new releases to help you discover your new favourite songs.
We all love a bit of nostalgia especially in our music, and the NCT boys definitely know it. Continuing their Resonance comeback; members Haechan, Jeno, Ten, Winwin, Yangyang and Sungchan are channelling their inner Backstreet Boys for the new NCT U single, “90’s Love”.
This week saw the first RBW girl group since MAMAMOO prepare for their debut and they certainly made a statement with their pre-release single; “My Heart Skip A Beat”. For a small look into the song and the group’s journey to debut, check out our full Song Of The Week analysis here.
With one of the most-anticipated albums of 2021 on the way, Chungha has been releasing bop after bop this year and this pre-release is no different. Teaming up with DJ/producer, R3HAB; she is donning seductive pinstripes and corsets for her brand new English song, “Dream Of You”.
It’s the end of November so that can only mean one thing; the Christmas songs are coming to invade our playlists and there has been some winter classics from Idols in the past. Kicking off the holiday season is Idol School alumni, Lee Hae In, with “Santa Lullaby”; a jazz-pop ditty that is perfect for decking the halls early.
