BTS’s “Dynamite” is the first single from a Korean Act that has achieved gold certification in the United Kingdom!
The BRIT Awards released on February 5 that BTS’s single “Dynamite” is now BRIT gold certified. Singles earn gold certification in the UK when they achieve 400,000 units.
“Dynamite” was released by BTS as a single on 21 August 2020, and was also part of their November album release BE. The single was a global hit where it debuted at No. 3, in August, on the Official UK singles chart. The song is still on the chart at No. 75, as it is currently in the ranking for the 24th week.
Besides being the only Korean group with a gold single in the UK, BTS is the only Korean artist with gold albums in the country. They have BRIT certified gold albums which includes, Love Yourself: Answer and Map of the Soul: Persona.
