BTS has been nominated for a BRIT Award!
The nominees across the awards were announced this weekend for the 2022 showcase. The BRIT Awards is the UK’s most high profile music awards ceremony. The ceremony will take place on Tuesday 8th February at the O2 area and is to be aired on ITV.
Last year, BTS became the first Korean artist to be nominated for a BRIT Award. in 2021, BTS narrowly missed out on Best International Group to the trio of American sisters, HAIM. This is the group’s second nomination in the same category. Nominated for Best International Group this year are ABBA, Måneskin (who have a second nomination for Best International song with ‘I Wanna Be Your Slave’), Silk Sonic and The War on Drugs – tough competition!
