The Korean Cultural Centre in the UK has been running the ‘K-pop Academy’ since 2012, to great success. Each session has introduced a group of 30 students to the Korea beyond K-pop with art, history, language and more. Having finished their 5th session earlier this year, the KCCUK have now opened applications for its 6th incarnation.

What is the K-pop Academy?

The K-pop Academy is a 12 week crash course in all things Korea; from contemporary to traditional culture and art. You’ll learn about Korea’s history, art, language and even food – not to mention more – in a very hands on and fun way. The 6th edition will be running on Saturdays from 2pm until 4pm from September 20th to December 6th.

Not only will you learn about Korea, but you’ll be able to meet others on the course who are just as enthusiastic about Korea and K-pop as you are – you may find fellow fans of your favourite groups!

To top that off, the most passionate student will be rewarded with a return flight to Korea, who said school was boring?

But remember, only 30 applicants will be successful so get your application forms in today!
