The UK round itself will take place at the exclusive DSTRKT club in London, in which the likes of Will Smith, Will.I.Am and even Psy have partied. The event will take place at the end of August from 2pm to 6pm (date will be confirmed pending a very special guest’s schedule).
From 2pm to 4:30pm, the Regional Final will take place with the best of London’s K-Pop fans performing. Then from 4:30pm to 6pm, we can all kick back as Enkore Media‘s K-pop party begins – with a special DJ in tow.
If you wish to apply, please fill upload a video of your cover to YouTube and fill out this application. Less than 10 lucky teams will be put through to the Regional Final to perform at DSTRKT, and one could be yours! However, all applicants must be over the age of 16 and not of Korean descent.
From the 10 teams, only two will make it into the final in Korea. One singing team/solo and one dancing team/solo will qualify to be flown out to take part in the World Final at the K-Pop World Festival 2014 in Changwon, with a great prizes available.
To come watch the performances and attend the K-pop party, you must RSVP to the KCCUK at info@kccuk.org.uk. Places are limited to the first 300 and no alcohol is permitted at the competition. If you’d like more information, you can also drop a call to the KCCUK at 020-7004-2600 or email them again at info@kccuk.org.uk.
