British singer, Rita Ora, has recently released her own design collaboration with Adidas. The famous sports clothing brand recruited Rita Ora to help out with 5 collections, each with a different theme. These had been spread over three release dates, with the last one on November 1st. The collaboration has been called “Adidas Originals by Rita Ora” and has been a huge success since its release.
So much so, that the singer herself held a launching party in Seoul, with special guests including 2NE1‘s CL, who has also released a collaboration project with Adidas Originals and Jeremy Scott with 2NE1 back in 2011.
These two pop stars have been well known for working closely with fashion designer, Jeremy Scott. Rita uploads a photo of CL at the party on Instagram with the caption “@itsjeremyscott (Jeremy Scott) look finally we met! @chaelin_cl (CL) new id love this girl in her customised Rita for Adidas bomber jacket!” Suggesting that they have been arranging to meet up for some time now.
Rita Ora then shares some photos of them both performing together at the event, should we expect a collaboration between the two? This hasn’t been the first time Rita Ora has been publicly involved with k-pop, she has also collaborated with Hyuna in a Funny or Die sketch. More info here.
K-pop seems to be slowly taking in British celebrities as well as the British public after Pixie Lott has collaborated with GD&TOP for her Japanese album, The Wanted recording a few videos of them singing to K-pop, One Direction using B.A.P in one of their videos and much more!
