Fashionistas, rejoice! A new favourite combination that could possibly top Netflix & pizza has just emerged, and it’s G-Dragon & shoes!
According to latest reports, the Big Bang leader and fashion idol is teaming up with Italian footwear designer Giuseppe Zanotti to create a line of both male and female shoes.
The capsule will include two unisex styles; one being a lace-up and the other one a loafer. Staying true to G-Dragons flamboyant style, the shoes will have features like glitter and light rubber soles inspired by the 80’s fashion.
When asked about the surprising collaboration, Zanotti said the following about about G-Dragon: “He has a unique style in playing his music. I find it really impressive, and our cooperation means a thrilling challenge to me. I love to work with other artists and brainstorm on the creative process.” .
On the other side, G-Dragon also seemed excited about the project, saying “These shoes turned out exactly how I wanted. It’s not just girls or women who get excited and worked up over pretty shoes. I think guys can feel that way, too, and I think both will feel that way about these shoes.”
Earlier on Friday, the rapper also uploaded a picture relating to the collaboration on Instagram. It showed some of the drawings made by Zanotti with the caption “his first sketches“.

The capsule will be available at selected Giuseppe Zanotti Design stores worldwide and online from October. The loafers will retail at approximately £457 while the lace-up version will cost around £510.
