Tragedy had been struck through Manchester on the evening of May 22 during the end of an Ariana Grande concert. The aftermath of the terrorist attack caused 22 deaths and at least 59 were injured as a result. The lives lost in the event included children as young as 8 years old, who was later identified as Saffie-Rose Roussos, to parents who were supposed to pick their children up after the concert.
For many fans, it’s a dream come true to be able to see their favourite artists perform, however a night that was meant to create memories for these fans to look back on fondly, it will forever be ingrained as a time of terror and fear.
The first victim to be revealed from the attack was 18 year old Georgina Callander and later after an appeal from the mother of Olivia Campbell, it had been updated that the 15 year old was also killed in the attack. This level of devastation has been reported to be the worst terrorist attack since the 7/7 London bombings.
