The Pledis boys are back and killing it! NU’EST have risen again – and their comeback release this week Where You At and album W,HERE has even hit the UK itunes album charts.
NU’EST W are four members of NU’EST – JR, Aron, Baekho and Ren – they’re working as a subunit this year while Minhyun fulfils his duties as a member of Wanna One. The W stands for ‘wait’. The original fivesome debuted back in 2012 with Face.
While the group had a good number of hits, released 5 EPs and two studio albums, they were still making a loss for label Pledis compared with their juniors Seventeen, as they revealed on Produce 101 Season 2. Trainer Kahi couldn’t hide her emotions during their awkward Produce 101 Season 2 audition.
However, while JR, Baekho, Minhyun and Ren were on the show, they captured fangirl hearts anew – JR impressing with his leadership and dance skills, and Baekho earning the nickname ‘sexy beast’ after his cover of BTS’ 2014 hit Boy in Luv.
