Rising music star, Holland, landed in London just a short few hours ago. The independent soloist is noted for being openly gay, something almost unheard of in South Korean entertainment.
As he took to the skies, Holland shared posts via Twitter and Instagram to update fans on where he was going.

Holland is our 2018 recipient of the UKP Shining Light Award, one of our annual awards that honours an artist whose reach extends beyond their music and sets a shining example for others. Sadly, his accepting disposition was not contagious upon his arrival and Holland’s first impressions of London may have been tarnished by someone shouting a racist slur at him, and we can only hope his experience improves.
One of his first activities in London will be an interview, and likely a photo shoot with Dazed tomorrow. If you are dying to ask Holland a question you can do by tweeting your burning question to the magazine.

If you happen to see Holland out and about in London, whether you are a Harling (Holland fan) or a Kpop fan in general, please do wave or send a smile in his direction and let him know that the UK is far more welcoming than his first impressions might have made it seem.
