The Moncler Genius project, launched by CEO Remo Ruffini dares to shake things up, allowing exceptional designers to create diffusion lines reinterpreting the Moncler style. Projects 4, 6 and 7 are already lined up for launch by Moncler and will likely walk the runway in Milan: 4 Simone Rocha, 6 Noir Kei Ninomiya, and 7 Fragment Hiroshi Fujuwara.
Project 4 Moncler Simone Rocha is for pragmatic femininity
Simone Rocha had images of daring Victorian climbers in petticoats in mind. She worked on voluminous silhouettes and deconstructed proportions merging a taste for embellishment with the performance quality of Moncler.
Project 6 Moncler Noir Kei Ninomiya is for wearable geometry
Kei Ninomiya builds impactful silhouettes with Noir by multiplying modules into wearable geometries. For the first time, he applied his own painstaking craft to duvet, even turning it into knit.
Project 7 Moncler Fragment Hiroshi Fujiwara is for subcultural subtleness
Hiroshi Fujiwara is a cultural fomenter and a pop infiltrator. He has a personal way to subtly tweak items giving them a cult-status spin. He shifted the Moncler duvet to his own parameters.
Attending the Moncler Genius show at Milan Fashion Week will be Minhyun’s first solo activity since returning to NU’EST after concluding activities with Wanna One. During his time with Wanna One, Minhyun has been highlighted for his fashion style and visuals and it is rumoured both Korean and International fashion brands are showing interest in him.
While in Milan, Minhyun is also set to participate in photo shoots among other activities.
