BTS has officially unveiled their new project “CONNECT, BTS”!

After weeks of speculation, the group has finally shed a light on the what the project is about.

The official website explains that “‘CONNECT, BTS’ is a global project to connect five cities and 22 artists, each of whom contributes their unique philosophy and imagination to it.”

The 22 artists involved will showcase artworks which fall in line with the group’s philosophy. Art exhibitions will be held in five major cities spanning three months. The first exhibition will be held on 15 January at the Serpentine Gallery, one of the most prestigious gallery in London.

The website further explains that “this project aims to redefine the relationships between art and music, the material and immaterial, artists and their audiences, artists and artists, and theory and practice. ‘CONNECT, BTS’ may be described in terms of a collective curatorial practice by curators around the world who resonated with BTS’s philosophy.”
