English-American actress Lily Collins has congratulated “Parasite” director Bong Joon Ho on his amazing night at the Oscars!
On an Instagram post earlier today, she captions:
“This guy just won four #Oscars last night! He set new records and then played Barbies with his awards. Not sure which part I’m more proud of. Congrats #BongJoonHo!”
She also tells followers to swipe to see “the best red carpet moment” of the night.
Lily Collins’ post comes after “Parasite” made history at the Oscars by becoming the first non-English film to win “Best Picture”. As well as this, the cast and crew saw three other wins out of its six nominated categories:
  • Best Director – Bong Joon Ho
  • Best Foreign Language Film – Parasite
  • Best Original Screenplay – Bong Joon Ho and Han Jin Won.
Lily Collins previously worked with Bong Joon Ho on Netflix’s “Okja”, a film about a girl who raises a genetically modified superpig. Lily played Red, an animal-rights activist and ALF member.
