The K-Pop Academy scheme has recently opened its applications for the 12th K-Pop Academy. The scheme run by the Korean Culture Centre (KCCUK) has been running twice a year since 2012. It consists of numerous classes which take place weekly, each Saturday, which range from different aspects of Korean culture. Examples include: Korean fashion (hanbok), Korean cuisine (hansik), K-Pop dance and more, with each class featuring a guest speaker to educate the students regarding the topic of the week.

The K-Pop Academy aims to develop the insight and widen the understanding of the students in regards to Korea and Korean culture. With an opportunity to meet K-Pop fans like yourself, you are given the chance to develop friendships and bonds with like-minded people. Together, you may share many new experiences influenced by Korean culture through these classes which the Korean Cultural Centre hopes you will hold with you for a lifetime.

For the 12th K-Pop Academy, the course will consist of 10 weeks of classes running from the 23rd of September to the 25th of November, every Saturday afternoon. The entire course is free of cost, but attendance is key. The course will be taking place at the Korean Culture Centre in London.
