On Monday 3rd of December, pianist Grace Yeo will be putting on a solo recital at the Purcell Room of the Queen Elizabeth Hall at 7:45PM.
26 year old Grace from Seoul, has been playing the piano since the age of four. She attended Seoul National University on a scholarship in 2004 and has since performed at many famous venues such as the Young-san Art Hall and Ceramic Palace Hall.
In 2008 she began her postgraduate studies in London at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama after being awarded another scholarship, the ‘Barbara Stringer Scholarship’. She also won the ‘Philharmonia Orchestra Martin Musical’ scholarship.
She has won many awards in competitions, and this wont be her first solo recital in London. She’s performed in various venues including Kings Place, St Martin-in-the-Fields, St. James’ Picadilly and many more. Grace has also played live on BBC Radio Three’s ‘In Tune’.
For her December concert at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, she will be performing a variety of pieces from the likes of Chopin and Schubert.
