Being a publication that always embraces the weird and wonderful eccentricities of modern popular culture, it is rather unsurprising that “Dazed and Confused”  have now published an article covering CL’s new and first solo single “The Baddest Female”

If you are unfamiliar with the latest extravagant output from YG Entertainment, check out our review of the single which also includes the crazy MV for you to watch.

The writer of the “Dazed and Confused” article (Owen Myers) is very praising of CL’s work, stating that

“2NE1’s K-Pop queen CL continues to make every Western pop star look unimaginative and bored in the captivating video for her debut solo single ‘The Baddest Female’.”

You can read the full article here.

Myers also mentions a previous interview that ‘K-Pop’s Baddest Female’ had with the site a while ago – you can read that here!

If there are any YG Stans reading this, you will probably already be familiar with the fact that “Dazed and Confused” has also covered CL’s colleague G-Dragon in a few of their pieces in the past.
Here is a in-depth interview with GD and another article which dubbed him as ‘K-Pop’s Golden Boy’.

What do you think of “Dazed and Confused”‘s coverage of the K-Pop genre so far?
Do you think we will be seeing artists from other agencies gaining attention in the future, or will YG continue to catch the West’s attention?
