In the not-so distant past, a Google search for Red Velvet would likely result in cake recipes and theatre curtains; but now it’s all about this brightly-hairdyed foursome. Irene, Seulgi, Wendy and Joy are SM Entertainment’s newest girl group, and released their debut song Happiness on August 1.

Red Velvet Global is an international fanbase set up speedily in July to promote and share info and pics of the girls in English. They have over 31,000 followers already on twitter, and over 5,000 likes on their Facebook page. They also have a YouTube account where they are uploading subtitled videos, and a Tumblr page. Sweet!
