Another anticipated debut has hit airwaves with the release of Brand New Music’s AB6IX and their first single, “Breathe”.
The group’s debut is highly anticipated by many for months as it fuses Brand New Music’s two recent ventures in one. Woojin & Daehwi were part of “Produce 101” alumni, WANNA ONE who have recently ended their exclusive promotions and returned to their labels. Meanwhile, Youngmin & Donghyun formed the duo, MXM who have been growing from strength to strength since their appearance in the second “Produce” series. The duo has been continuing to release continuous singles and without confirmation from Brand New; there is still the possibility of MXM continuing as a sub-unit.
Now that the world has seen their individual talents, both of Brand New Music’s exports are joining to create AB6IX alongside Woong, who has a varied history of training under YG, Woolim & JYP Entertainment.
Along with the title track, the group has already been treating fans with a separate performance for “Hollywood” and marking one of their first live performance on the biggest stage of all; the 2019 Dream Concert which was days before the official album release.
