Welcome back to Film Friday! Today we’ll be looking at the 2013 action comedy-drama, Secretly, Greatly. Let’s go!

This film follows a small group of North Korean spies who have infiltrated South Korea and live as a village idiot, a musician and a student. They have been residing in South Korea for some time, and seeing as they have never received any missions or directives, they get used to life in their small town. Their lives are interrupted after a power shift in the North when South Korea bargains for the identities of 30 North Korean spies active in the South. They are sent orders to commit suicide to stop their expertise being captured by the South, and to make matters worse, their trainer from the North is sent to eliminate anyone who doesn’t follow the order.

This film is definitely one I would recommend to anyone, and is one of my recent favourites as I seem to have a thing for anything involving North Korea these days. But if you’re looking for an unusual film to give you a chuckle, then check this out!

Until next time!
