For this weeks ‘Thursday 13’ we check out idols who have embarked on tours, some across Asia, other across the world. 1) SNSD – 9 member girl group SNSD have had several tours since 2009. Their tour in 2009, ‘Into The New World’, was their first headlining tour, with tickets selling out within 3 minutes. Since then, they have had several other tours, most recently their 3rd Japanese Tour in 2014. 2) INFINITE – Boy group INFINITE had their first concert in South Korea in 2012, followed by a Japanese tour also in the same year. Recently they finished with their ‘That Summer 2’ tour, playing a series of small concerts in Korea to get closer to Inspirits. 3) SHINee – SHINee have embarked on many tours, starting with ‘SHINee World’ in 2010 where they toured across Asian countries such as South Korea, Japan and China. Recently they finished ‘SHINee World III’ in June 2014, not only going to Asian countries, but also including Mexico, Chile and Argentina. They are set to start touring Japan for the third time this September, with 30 shows lined up. 4) EXO – This year EXO announced their first tour, ‘The Lost Planet’, starting in Seoul on 23rd May. Since then they have been to Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. They are yet to play in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Japan; their tour ending in December. 5) B.A.P – B.A.P begun their first concert tour, ‘Live On Earth’, in 2013, playing in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, Singapore and the USA. Recently they finished their ‘Live On Earth 2014 Continent Tour’ playing across Asia, aswell as the USA and Europe. 6) B2ST – ‘Beautiful Show’ is the first world tour by B2ST, which kicked off in Seoul in February 2012. They played across Asia and one date in Germany. 7) CNBlue – CNBlue had their first tour, ‘Listen to the CNBlue’, in July 2010. This year they have been busy with their ‘Can’t Stop’ tour, playing in countries such as South Korea, China, Malaysia and Taiwan. 8) BIG BANG – BIG BANG have embarked on several tours since 2006. They have had many Korean and Japanese tours aswell as world tours. Their first Korean tour was ‘The Real’, and in 2008 they had their first Japanese tour, ‘Stand Up’. In 2012, they had their first world tour, ‘BIG BANG Alive Galaxy Tour’, touring many Asian countries, aswell as stopping in the USA and the UK. 9) Super Junior – ‘Super Show’ was Super Junior’s 1st Asian Tour in 2008 and they had their first world tour, ‘Super Show 4’, in 2011. With the return of their leader Leetuek, they will be embarking on their next world tour, ‘Super Show 6’ in September. 10) SMTOWN – The artists of SM Entertainment gathered for their first tour together in 2002 for ‘SM China’. Recently they played in Seoul for ‘SMTown Live World Tour IV’, and are planning to play in Japan and China in the following months. 11) YG Family – YG Entertainment had their first family concert, ‘Color of Soul Train’, in 2003 in Seoul. Starting in April in Japan, they embarked on their 2014 world tour ‘Power’, which ended on August 15th in Seoul. 12) Cube Entertainment – In 2011, the artists of Cube Entertainment gathered for ‘ United Cube’, touring South Korea, Japan, the UK, the USA, and Brazil. In 2013, they gathered again to tour South Korea and Japan. 13) 2NE1 – In 2011, 2NE1 headlined with their first tour, ‘NOLZA’. In 2014, they embarked on their fourth tour, ‘All or Nothing’, touring many Asian countries.
