Hello Venus have returned with a summer comeback on the 18th July, in comparison to their last two main title tracks they had promoted there’s certainly a different chilled vibe about this one. For this SOTW, we’ll be looking at their newest single ‘Paradise’!
If you’re looking for a sweet little summer tune to listen to, ‘Paradise’ is surely one to listen to!
This is the second collaboration that Hello Venus has done with Devine Channel. The music itself is more toned down than their previous comeback song ‘I’m Ill’, though it looks to be the suitable kind of summery song. From the lyrics, the girls sing about being head over heels and not understanding the sudden emotions that they feel upon seeing the one they like.
“All day, I feel like I’m walking on a cloud
When I’m with you, it’s always paradise.”
From the MV, the girls look like they’re all having fun with filming out by a beautiful beach. This could be to possibly symbolise the metaphorical ‘paradise’ that the song refers to, or rather being with the person that they like is enough to be described as being in a paradise. The cinematography looks like it was filmed to create a first person experience, as the girls interact with the camera. Overall, the music video is cute and is nothing short of charms!
