Golden Child, a new boy group from Woollim Entertainment finally made their debut this week with the bright and funky track DamDaDi.

There are 11 members – Daeyeol (leader), Sungyoon, Jaeseok, Jangjun, TAG, Seungmin, Jaehyun, Jibeom, Donghyun, Joochan, and Bomin (maknae). Other nicknames for the group are GNCD and Gol-Cha, also the name of their first EP release.

Leader Daeyeol is the younger brother of Infinite’s Sungyeol, and he’s been visibly supporting his juniors by appearing on their TV show, and being the MC for their showcase earlier this week in Korea. Two other Infinite members, Dongwoo and Sungjong, and some of the Lovelyz girls were also spotted in the showcase audience supporting the rookies. Here’s another song from the showcase, SEA

Woollim has been teasing us with snippets of these trainees for some time in the lead-up to debut. Earlier this year they released a series of three videos called W Project showing off their skills. Then, they released a weekly show, Woollim Pick, on Naver’s V Live channel. Check it out to get to know these youthful rookies better.

Bomin was also the eye candy in Lovelyz Now, We MV.
