For this weeks ‘Friday Foods’ we check out how to make Musaengchae, a radish salad you can enjoy with rice!
|– 1 Korean radish (daikon)
– 1 tbsp sugar
– 1 tbsp salt
– 1 tbsp hot chili flakes
– 1 spring onion, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Step 1: Peel the radish and cut into thin slices (like grated cheese!)
Step 2: Put 3 cups of radish into a bowl, adding salt to it.
Step 3: Add in the sugar, hot chili flakes, spring onion and garlic.
Step 4: Mix with hand.
Step 5: Add sesame seeds, and mix again.
Step 6: It’s ready! Serve with rice or eat as is.
