Another week has passed, and we edge ever closer to spring. This week, we have had some great releases on the Korean music scene, including tracks from Joonil Jung and Mad Clown. Let’s take a look at just a few.

JOONIL JUNG – ‘Wish’
Release date: 13/03/2017

Here’s one for the ballad lovers out there – Joonil Jung has returned with ‘Wish’. The MV stars actress Park Shin Hye and the track is part of his 3rd full album. This emotionally charged video shows Shin Hye seemingly struggling to come to terms with the end of a relationship.

OOHYO – ‘PIZZA’
Release date: 14/03/2017

OOHYO’s latest release ‘PIZZA’ is an infectious track not to be missed. Her voice is refreshing and natural-sounding. If you are more a fan of K-Indie than K-Pop, she is an artist definitely worth checking out. ‘PIZZA’ is also a brilliant track to start with. The fact that it is entirely in English will make it a lot more accessible to those who are new to Korean music, so it’s great to show any friends willing to try something new.

Cao Lu, Kisum, Yerin – ‘Spring again’

FIESTAR’s Cao Lu, GFRIEND’s Yerin and rapper Kisum (who participated in season one of ‘Unpretty Rapstar’ and ‘Show Me the Money 3’) have come together for the track ‘Spring again’. It’s a lovely song that really does make you yearn for the freshness of spring. It’s full of acoustic guitar and the music video has wonderfully bright colours.

Mad Clown – ‘Love is a Dog from Hell (Feat. Suran)’
