For this weeks ‘Friday Foods’ we will look at how to make kimchi tteokbeokki. Keep reading to find out how!

Ingredients:
kimchi (our last ‘Friday Foods’ will tell you how to make kimchi, so complete this first!)
– tteokbokki tteok (which can be purchased from a Korean supermarket)
– 1 chopped sausage
– 3 cups of water
– 1 spring onion
– 2 tsp minced garlic
– 2 tbsp chilli sauce
– 1 tbsp starch syrup
– 1 tsp chilli powder
– 2 tbsp sugar
– 1 tsp sesame oil
– 1 tbsp soy sauce

Follow these 3 simple steps!

1) Place the chopped kimchi, the tteokbokki tteok and the sausages into a pan. Panfry for 1 minute.

2) Then add the water, chopped spring onions, minced garlic, chilli sauce, starch syrup, chilli powder, sugar, sesame oil, and soy sauce to the pan with the ingredients from step 1.

3) Whilst tossing/stirring, panfry on ‘4’ for 3 minutes.
